Acute intussusception in adults is rare and particularly so in pregnant women. Its incidence ranges from 0.067% to 0.0015% (Choi et al., 2005 Choi et al. (2005) [1]). The non-specific presenting symptoms may be attributed to the pregnancy itself, making the diagnosis difficult. When it happens, however, it causes considerable morbidity and mortality for the pregnant woman and the fetus. In adults, such intussusceptions are mainly secondary to an intestinal disease and frequently a tumor. We present the case of a 21-year-old pregnant woman who was diagnosed of spontaneous acute intussusception at nine weeks of gestation and therapeutic management.

Feeding jejunostomy is a simple and common procedure used to provide enteral nutrition. Acute intestinal intussusception on a jejunostomy tube is a rare complication that can have catastrophic consequences and often requires urgent surgical intervention. We report the case of a 45-year-old female patient with a stenosing hypopharyngeal tumor leading to complete aphagia.

Background: Acute heart failure due to aortic regurgitation (AR) is a severe comorbidity of type A acute aortic dissection (AAD). Valve-sparing aortic root replacement is typically performed when the aortic valve remains intact.
Case Presentation: A 33-year-old male presented to our hospital with chest pain.

In children, 90% cases of intussusception are idiopathic and the remaining 10% are attributed to underlying diseases (most commonly due to Meckel's diverticulum, polyps then either duplication cyst or mesentery cysts, and rarely due to Burkitt's lymphoma). The occurrence of acute intestinal intussusception caused by Burkitt's lymphoma in children under the age of 5 is exceedingly rare. Burkitt's lymphoma presents with diverse clinical manifestations, often leading to the identification of an abdominal tumor in pediatric patients.

Introduction And Importance: Intussusception in the proximal bowel is extremely rare, with only a few reported cases of gastroduodenal intussusception (GDI). Gastrogastric intussusception is the rarest form of intussusception in adults. Here, we present an exceptionally rare case of gastro-gastric intussusception caused by a gastric Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST).

Cecocolic intussusceptions are a rare condition of acute colic in horses requiring immediate surgical intervention due to persistent uncontrollable pain and ongoing ischemic cecal necrosis. Particularly in cases where reduction of the intussusception is surgically not feasible surgical interventions such as partial typhlectomy through colotomy (partial cecal amputation) combined with or without cecal bypass techniques are described. Alternatively, surgical interventions can also be performed without partial typhlectomy via incomplete bypass ileocolostomy.
