Article Abstract
Organic photodetectors (PDs) based on printing technologies will allow to expand the current field of PD applications toward large-area and flexible applications in areas such as medical imaging, security, and quality control, among others. Inkjet printing is a powerful digital tool for the deposition of smart and functional materials on various substrates, allowing the development of electronic devices such as PDs on various substrates. In this work, inkjet-printed PD arrays, based on the organic thin-film transistor architecture, have been developed and applied for the indirect detection of X-ray radiation using a scintillator ink as an X-ray absorber. The >90% increase of the photocurrent of the PDs under X-ray radiation, from about 53 nA without the scintillator film to about 102 nA with the scintillator located on top of the PD, proves the suitability of the developed printed device for X-ray detection applications.

In this paper, we introduce a novel concordance-based predictive uncertainty (CPU)-Index, which integrates insights from subgroup analysis and personalized AI time-to-event models. Through its application in refining lung cancer screening (LCS) predictions generated by an individualized AI time-to-event model trained with fused data of low dose CT (LDCT) radiomics with patient demographics, we demonstrate its effectiveness, resulting in improved risk assessment compared to the Lung CT Screening Reporting & Data System (Lung-RADS). Subgroup-based Lung-RADS faces challenges in representing individual variations and relies on a limited set of predefined characteristics, resulting in variable predictions.

Coordination polymers (CPs) are promising for direct X-ray detection and imaging owing to higher designability and outstanding stability, however, it remains a challenge to achieve highly X-ray detection performance, particularly both high sensitivity and low detection limit at the same operating voltage. Herein, we construct a new conjugated CP {[Co(BPTTz)(DIPA)] DMA}n (1, BPTTz = 2,5-bis(pyridine-4-yl)thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole, H2DIPA = 2,5-diiodoterephthalic acid, DMA = N, N'-dimethylacetamide), with multi-channel charge transfer by regulating the linker mediated electronic-state, which reduces carrier losses resulting from recombination or quenching, enhances the efficiency of charge separation and transfer, thus further optimizes X-ray detection performance. Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) show structural changes stimulated by changes in external conditions. This study aims to reveal the temperature dependence of the structure and dynamics of the intrinsically disordered region of Hef, one of the typical IDPs, using an integrative approach. Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and circular dichroism (CD) studies revealed that the radius of gyration and ellipticity at 222 nm remained constant up to 313-323 K, followed by a decline above this temperature range.
