Importance: During the COVID-19 pandemic, many primary care practices adopted telehealth in place of in-person care to preserve access to care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. The extent to which this change was associated with their rates of acute care visits (ie, emergency department visits and hospitalizations) for these conditions is unknown.

Objective: To examine whether a primary care practice's level of telehealth use is associated with a change in their rate of acute care visits for ambulatory care-sensitive conditions (ACSC visits).

Overexpression of ABA-INSENSITIVE5 binding proteins (AFPs) results in extreme ABA resistance of seeds and failure to acquire desiccation tolerance, at least in part through effects on chromatin modification. We tested the hypothesis that AFPs promote germination in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) by also functioning as adapters for E3 ligases that ubiquitinate ABI5, leading to its degradation. Interactions between AFPs and two well-characterized classes of E3 ligases targeting ABI5, DWD HYPERSENSITIVE TO ABA (DWA)s and KEEP ON GOING, were analyzed by yeast two-hybrid, bimolecular fluorescence complementation, and genetic assays.

Even so, no studies were identified in the literature that investigated how the practices to combat COVID-19 improved the performance related to employee safety and occupational health.
