For the first time, to the best of our knowledge, we experimentally demonstrate a successful 30-Gb/s signal transmission of a duobinary message hidden in a chaotic optical carrier over 100-km fiber. Thanks to the duobinary modulation format with high spectral efficiency, the 30-Gb/s signal can be encrypted by a 10-GHz-wide chaotic carrier. A digital signal processing technique can be used to convert duobinary data into binary data on the receiver side. This proposal lowers the requirement for wideband chaos generation and synchronization in high-speed long-distance chaotic optical communications, and fiber dispersion compensation can also be simplified, which has potential to be used in high-speed long-distance secure optical communications.

This study implements the permutation Jensen-Shannon distance as a metric for discerning ordinal patterns and similarities across multiple temporal scales in time series data. Initially, we present a numerically controlled analysis to validate the multiscale capabilities of this method. Subsequently, we apply our methodology to a complex photonic system, showcasing its practical utility in a real-world scenario.

Unlabelled: Considering the similarity in clinical presentations of iris neoplasms of various origins, questions of their noninvasive diagnosis remain relevant. Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) is one of the imaging method that enables visualization of tumor vessels.

Purpose: This article examines the features of angioarchitecture, vascular network density, and perfusion density of iris melanoma and progressive iris nevus using OCT-A.

Parallel generation of multi-channel chaos is critical to applications, and the key challenge is the simultaneous generation of broadband chaos with multiple channels and low correlation. Here, we experimentally demonstrate a parallel broadband chaos generation scheme using a single long-active-cavity Fabry-Perot (LC-FP) semiconductor laser under optical feedback. The active-cavity length is designed to be 1500 μm, so the power spectrum of chaos is expanded and flattened by the mode-beating effect.

In this Letter, we propose a highly secure OFDM scheme based on multi-level masking and performance-enhanced key-accompanying transmission. Our scheme exploits a four-dimensional hyperchaotic model and uses subcarriers and symbols to scramble the signal, thereby achieving chaotic encryption and enhancing system security. The dual-mode index technique is employed to conceal the key within the encrypted signal, enabling cooperative transmission of both the key and the signal.

Objective: Aim: Installation the changes of the microstructural rearrangement of the layers of the rat cornea at the end of the second week of experimental streptozotocin- induced diabetes.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The research was conducted on 15 sexually mature, outbred white male rats, weighing 120-130 g. Two groups of animals were used in the work: the first group with developing diabetes (2 weeks after administration of streptozotocin); the second group served as control and received injections of 0.
