Task-oriented training is a contemporary intervention based on behavioral neuroscience and recent models of motor learning. It can logically be guided by the theory of occupational adaptation. This report presents the perceptions of four participants who underwent task-oriented training at home (TOTE Home) for upper extremity hemiparesis following a stroke. Guided by principles of motor learning and the theory of occupational adaptation, a directed content analysis was used with field notes recorded during the TOTE Home. Three themes emerged: salience of the activity within context, desire for mastery by creating the just right challenge, and adapted self-perception of abilities. While motor learning principles informed the method of task practice and feedback, it was the person's desire to perform meaningful, relevant activities that drove the adaptive process. This study provided insight in the perceptions and experiences of participants undergoing TOTE Home.

Prompt learning has been recently introduced into the adaption of pre-trained vision-language models (VLMs) by tuning a set of trainable tokens to replace hand-crafted text templates. Despite the encouraging results achieved, existing methods largely rely on extra annotated data for training. In this paper, we investigate a more realistic scenario, where only the unlabeled test data is available.

Objective: The Getting Older Adults Outdoors (GO-OUT) randomized trial showed that a 10-week outdoor walk group (OWG) program was not superior to 10 weekly phone reminders in increasing physical and mental health; however, OWG attendance varied. This study examined whether dose-response relationships existed between OWG attendance and improvement in physical and mental health among older adults with mobility limitations.
Methods: We analyzed data from 76 OWG participants with pre- and post-intervention scores on at least one of seven measures of health outcomes (walking endurance, comfortable and fast walking speed, balance, lower extremity strength, walking self-efficacy, and emotional well-being).
Recently, foundation models (such as ChatGPT) have emerged with powerful learning, understanding, and generalization abilities, showcasing tremendous potential to revolutionarily promote modern industry. Despite significant advancements in various fields, existing general foundation models face challenges in industry when dealing with the data of specialized modalities, the tasks of varying-scenario with multiple processes, and the requirements of trustworthy output, which makes industrial foundation model (IFM) a necessity. This article proposes a system architecture of termed IFMsys, including model training, model adaptation, and model application.

Background: Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) refers to significant clinical physical and psychological manifestations during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, leading to significant distress and impaired functional capacity. Given the side effects caused by pharmacotherapy, it seems logical to use non-pharmacological methods that can reduce symptoms such as menstrual stress. Thus, this study has been conducted to compare the effect of teaching coping skills and acupressure on premenstrual stress in undergraduate students of the Medical School of Azad University of Sanandaj-Iran.

Purpose: To explore therapists' experiences on what elements arm-hand rehabilitation should contain, their importance, and the information needed to apply them in clinical practice.
Materials And Methods: This qualitative study, with an exploratory approach, used focus group discussions with purposive sampling. Based on Braun and Clarke's methodology, inductive thematic analysis was employed to develop themes, subthemes, and categories.
