Sixty-four-section CT colonography with water enema combines intracolonic neutral contrast agent with high-resolution CT images of the abdomen. Owing to submillimeter isotropic voxels, high-quality reformatted images are obtained. High-resolution images offer added value for the detection and localization of colonic lesions, evaluation of the local extent of the disease, and depiction, if any, of synchronous colorectal lesions and distant metastases.

LoVo, a human colon cancer cell line expressing a wild-type p53 and a normal E-cadherin, was studied. Clone LoVo-XC17 was obtained from LoVo cells transfected with a vector bearing a p53 273his mutation.
