The reaction of arynes and secondary allylamines furnished ortho-allyl-substituted N-arylanilines via an aza-Claisen rearrangement. In this transformation, the sequential formation of C-C and C-N bonds occurred by involving two aryne molecules under metal-free reaction conditions to provide moderate to good yields of the products. The obtained ortho-allyl-substituted N-arylaniline derivatives were further converted into aryl-fused medium-sized (7-9) nitrogenous heterocyclic molecules such as azepines, azocines and azonines via ring-closing metathesis (RCM).
In this study, the readily available and inexpensive Sc(OTf) was utilized to activate ortho-benzoyl diazo compounds to in situ generate highly reactive cyclic 1,3-dipoles, which underwent a regioselective [4 + 3] cycloaddition with dioxopyrrolidines, yielding the [4.2.1]-oxabridged scaffolds bearing multiple contiguous quaternary carbon centers with high diastereoselectivities.
Selenium disulfide (often referred to as SeS) encompasses a family of mixed selenium-sulfide eight-membered rings, traditionally used as an anti-dandruff agent in shampoos. SeS can be produced by reacting hydrogen sulfide (HS) with selenite (SeO) under acidic conditions. This chemistry is also possible with natural spring waters that are rich in HS, thus providing an avenue for the more sustainable, green production of high-quality SeS particles from an abundant natural source.

Background: Studies conducted in various animal models of joint pain showed an anti-nociceptive effect of intra-articular botulinum toxin type A (BoNT-A). Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in humans suggest a potential effect but results are disparate.
Objectives: To assess the efficacy and safety of intra-articular BoNT-A for the treatment of joint pain.
Purpose: The objectives of this paper were to summarize successful strategies in occupational health and safety (OHS) management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to explore their potential applicability for disability management (DM) and return-to-work (RTW) after work-related injuries.
Methods: A scoping review was conducted, using a consensus-based iterative approach, and a consultation with stakeholders. Twelve databases were searched in collaboration with a specialized librarian, using keywords and combinations of terms.
Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) primarily impacts younger individuals and is a major reason for hip replacement surgeries in this demographic; new regenerative therapies like core decompression (CD) combined with exosomes from human adipose stem cells (hADSC) show promise but need more research to validate their effectiveness.
The study involved extracting and characterizing hADSC-derived exosomes and testing their protective effects on ONFH in a rabbit model induced by surgical vascular occlusion and corticosteroid injections; the rabbits were divided into an exosome treatment group and a control group receiving saline.
Results indicated that the group treated with hADSC-derived exosomes experienced significantly less severe progression of ONFH compared to the control group
