Many patients with cancer approaching the end of life (EOL) continue to receive treatments that are unlikely to provide meaningful clinical benefit, potentially causing more harm than good. This is called overtreatment at the EOL. Overtreatment harms patients by causing side-effects, increasing health care costs, delaying important discussions about and preparation for EOL care, and occasionally accelerating death.

Background: Childhood hearing loss (CHL) is a condition that can have a variety of causes, including genetic and environmental and its prevalence is thought to be high in Saudi Arabian population mainly due to consanguineous unions. This systematic literature review aims to conclude the prevalence of hereditary hearing loss and its risk factors among the Saudi population.
Methods: In September 2023, a thorough search was performed on the PubMed, CENTRAL, MEDLINE, and EMBASE databases.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the possible impacts of fasting on physical activity and weight loss in adult users of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists, specifically semaglutide and tirzepatide, using qualitative methods to gain in-depth insights into participants' experiences and perceptions.
Patients And Methods: A qualitative study was conducted at the Polyclinic at King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, during and after Ramadan in 2024, along with the completion of International Physical Activity Questionnaires (IPAQs). The semi-structured interviews and the IPAQ were used to assess physical activity levels.

Objectives: Testicular torsion, a condition requiring urgent intervention, can occur at any age and present with diverse symptoms. To the best of our knowledge, no study has evaluated the characteristics of testicular torsion in childhood, a less common age group. This study showed differences in patients' characteristics between childhood and adolescence and the variation across ages.
