Aim: The Transorbital and supraorbital minimally invasive approaches have been defined to reach intraorbital structures, adjacent sinuses, skull base, and other intracranial targets in this region. These approaches reduce the possible cosmetic and brain retraction-related morbidities caused by traditional transcranial approaches. Although these pathways are being studied endoscopically, a stereotactic approach has not been defined.

Some patients with aortic stenosis may require multiple valve interventions in their lifetime, and choosing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) as the initial intervention may be appealing to many. If their transcatheter heart valve degenerates later in life, most will hope to undergo redo-TAVR. However, if redo-TAVR is not feasible, some may have to undergo surgical explantation of their transcatheter heart valve (TAVR-explant).

Parental leave policies have been recognized for their positive impact on maternal, fetal, and familial well-being, career satisfaction, and gender equality. However, negative perceptions and a lack of awareness surrounding these policies may discourage female residents from taking parental leave during training.
