To report a case of intraocular ossification, describe its particularities and review some of the pathogenesis theories. We described the case of a 31-year-old woman with a history of perforating trauma ten years before, who presented in our clinic for right eye pain. The patient wanted a cosmetic improvement so an evisceration was proposed. An intraocular hard yellowish mass, which had a histopathological examination, was found intraoperatively. We diagnosed the case as an intraocular ossification, based on the medical history and histopathological specimen examination, which proved to be an ossified structure. In spite of a rare occurrence, our case emphasized the theory that trauma and subsequent neurogenic inflammation could lead to osseous metaplasia.

Background: This study aims to compare the changes in ophthalmic parameters among syndromic craniosynostosis patients who underwent craniofacial skeletal expansion procedures via distraction osteogenesis (DO).
Method: A retrospective study was conducted involving syndromic craniosynostosis patients who underwent surgical expansion via the DO technique from the year 2012 to March 2022. Changes in six parameters which consist of visual acuity, refractive error, optic disc health, intraocular pressure, degree of proptosis and orbital volume were measured objectively pre and post-surgery.

Purpose: To report a case of corneal perforation as a rare and late manifestation of choroidal melanoma and to highlight the major histopathological findings of this unusual combined clinical presentation.
Methods: A 74-year-old male patient presented to our department due to corneal perforation of the right eye with the absence of light perception for 6 months. The intraocular pressure was hard on palpation.
The aim of this paper is to present an outline of forms of ocular manifestations of visceral larva migrans in children, as illustrated by the extensive photographic documentation. Ocular larval toxocariasis (OLT) has various clinical manifestations even in childhood age, in which age representation has an influence. The most common is presence of peripheral granuloma of the eye, frequently with a tractional vitreal streak leading from the retinal periphery to the optic nerve papilla.

Purpose: To describe the clinical, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and histopathological findings of a patient who was found to have ossification of a pre-retinal membrane after multiple surgical repairs for retinal detachment.
Methods: The patient had comprehensive ophthalmic examinations during seven years of follow-up and underwent surgical removal of her pre-retinal membrane.
Results: A 24-year-old woman with a history of retinal detachment and multiple retina surgeries presented with baseline vision of 20/200 and refractory glaucoma in the left eye (right eye with no light perception due to prior failed retinal detachment repair).

Background: Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder in which there are problems in tissues containing type I collagen, predominantly the cornea and sclera in the eye. Although there are many studies on problems with the anterior segment of the eye in patients with OI, studies on posterior structures are limited. Involvement of the sclera may affect the retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL), which is indirectly related to intraocular pressure.
