: Millions of children are affected by disasters every year. Children need not be passive victims, however, but instead may contribute to disaster risk reduction activities. : This paper provides a theoretical foundation for children's involvement in disaster risk reduction activities. : The paper reviews and analyses the literature on children's participation, on their developmental capacity to participate, and on disaster risk reduction activities involving children. : Participation yields numerous potential benefits for children, including enhanced personal development and skills, self-efficacy, and interpersonal relationships, and for communities through improved social connections and networks and disaster preparedness. : Children are resources to be cultivated and mobilized for disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience. Attention is needed to identify approaches to appropriately enlist, engage, and involve children in disaster risk reduction activities; to promote these efforts; and to evaluate these approaches.

This study focuses on the northern scenic area of Changbai Mountain, aiming to evaluate the emergency evacuation capacity of the region in the context of geological disasters and to formulate corresponding improvement strategies. Due to the relatively small area of this region, difficulties in data acquisition, and insufficient precision, traditional models for evaluating emergency evacuation capacity are typically applied to urban built environments, with relatively few studies addressing scenic areas. To tackle these issues, this research employs the Real-Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network (Real-ESRGAN), which successfully resolves the problem of blurriness in remote sensing images and significantly enhances image clarity.

Unlabelled: The emergency destruction of the 4th reactor of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant necessitated large-scale emergency work, which involved large contingents of specialists. Analysis the mortality of Chornobyl clean-up workers isan important and relevant basis for planning medical protection measures in conditions of a potential threat ofemergency and other radiation situations. The objective of this work is to determine the levels and relative risks of mortality of Chornobyl clean-up workers in1986-1987 years from major non-tumor diseases depending on the received dose of radiation exposure, taking intoaccount age and time after the accident (period of epidemiological studies 1988-2021).
