The concept of clinical workflow borrows from management and leadership principles outside of medicine. The only way to rethink clinical workflow is to understand the neuroscience principles that underlie attention and vigilance. With any implementation to improve practice, there are human factors that can promote or impede progress. Modulating the environment and working as a team to take care of patients is paramount. Clinicians must continually rethink clinical workflow, evaluate progress, and understand that other industries have something to offer. Then, novel approaches can be implemented to take the best care of patients.

Abnormal eye movements occur early in the course of disease in many ataxias. However, clinical assessments of oculomotor function lack precision, limiting sensitivity for measuring progression and the ability to detect subtle early signs. Quantitative assessment of eye movements during everyday behaviors such as reading has potential to overcome these limitations and produce functionally relevant measures.

Aims And Background: This study aimed to assess the accuracy of digital intraoral scans in capturing the three-dimensional (3D) surface of teeth and dental arches in mixed dentition, compared with conventional plaster models. Intraoral scanning technology has seen rapid advancements in recent years, revolutionizing orthodontic and dental practices. However, its accuracy in mixed dentition remains a subject of investigation.

Purpose: Ultrahypofractionation presents challenges for a subset of high-risk prostate cancer patients due to the large planning target volume (PTV) margin required for the seminal vesicles. Online adaptive radiation therapy could potentially reduce this margin. This paper focuses on the development, preclinical validation, and clinical testing of online adaptive robotic stereotactic body radiation therapy for this patient group.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) demonstrates significant cellular heterogeneity in both leukemic and immune cells, providing valuable insights into clinical outcomes. Here, we constructed an AML single-cell transcriptome atlas and proposed sciNMF workflow to systematically dissect underlying cellular heterogeneity. Notably, sciNMF identified 26 leukemic and immune cell states that linked to clinical variables, mutations, and prognosis.

Background: Histotripsy is a non-invasive, non-ionizing, non-thermal focused ultrasound technique. High amplitude short acoustic pulses converge to create high negative pressures that cavitate endogenous gas into a bubble cloud leading to mechanical tissue destruction. In the United States, histotripsy is approved to treat liver tumors under diagnostic ultrasound guidance but in initial clinical cases, some areas of the liver have not been treated due to bone or gas obstructing the acoustic window for targeting.
