The GNAT (General NMR Analysis Toolbox) is a free and open-source software package for processing, visualising, and analysing NMR data. It supersedes the popular DOSY Toolbox, which has a narrower focus on diffusion NMR. Data import of most common formats from the major NMR platforms is supported, as well as a GNAT generic format. Key basic processing of NMR data (e.g., Fourier transformation, baseline correction, and phasing) is catered for within the program, as well as more advanced techniques (e.g., reference deconvolution and pure shift FID reconstruction). Analysis tools include DOSY and SCORE for diffusion data, ROSY T /T estimation for relaxation data, and PARAFAC for multilinear analysis. The GNAT is written for the MATLAB® language and comes with a user-friendly graphical user interface. The standard version is intended to run with a MATLAB installation, but completely free-standing compiled versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux are also freely available.

This study aims to develop an end-to-end deep learning (DL) model to predict neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) response in osteosarcoma (OS) patients using routine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We retrospectively analyzed data from 112 patients with histologically confirmed OS who underwent NACT prior to surgery. Multi-sequence MRI data (including T2-weighted and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted images) and physician annotations were utilized to construct an end-to-end DL model.

The purpose of this study was to identify pediatric eosinophilic fasciitis, which is an extremely rare condition, in order to describe their clinical, paraclinical, and therapeutic characteristics. We made a call for observations via societies for pediatric rheumatology in France and surrounding countries and collected clinical and paraclinical data of the cases fulfilling the diagnostic criteria. Eight patients under 18 years of age with confirmed eosinophilic fasciitis followed between April 2004 and July 2022 in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain were included.

Copper is ubiquitous as a structural material, and as a reagent in (bio)chemical transformations. A vast number of chemical reactions rely on the near-inevitable preference of copper for positive oxidation states to make useful compounds. Here we show this electronic paradigm can be subverted in a stable compound with a copper-magnesium bond, which conforms to the formal oxidation state of Cu(-I).

Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is associated with a high risk of hepatobiliary malignancy, especially cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). There are no good tumor markers to screen for CCA, and current recommendations for PSC monitoring are mainly based on expert opinions. The optimal strategy to assess disease progression and screen for CCA - the main cause of death of PSC patients - remains unclear.
