Species within the genus Motschulsky recorded in Taiwan are revised. Motschulsky 1861 Gressitt & Kimoto 1963 Chûjô 1938 and Kimoto 1969 are redescribed. Lee 2014 is proposed as a junior synonym of (Baly 1861). (Jacoby 1888) is recorded as new for Taiwan and redescribed. Lectotypes are designated for Chûjô 1935 Chûjô 1938 and Jacoby 1888. Biological notes are given on all Taiwanese species of .
