Hydroa vacciniforme lymphoproliferative disorders (HVLPD) fall within the clinical spectrum of chronic active epstein barr virus (EBV) disease (CAEBVD), ranging from localised and/or indolent forms (classic HVLPD) to systemic disease with fever, hepatosplenomegaly and lymphadenopathy (systemic HVLPD). A preadolescent male with 47XYY, multicystic dysplastic kidney, autism spectrum disorder and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) presented with photodistributed non-pruritic, non-painful necrotic papulovesicles accompanied by non-febrile intermittent fatigue and lymphadenopathy. The patient had a history of EBV pneumonia in infancy confirmed by CT scan and was later diagnosed with CAEBV.

Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) is a malignancy of the lymphocytes in the lymph nodes and presents with non-specific systemic symptoms like fever, night sweats, and weight loss. While HL often involves the mediastinum, it rarely causes superior vena cava (SVC) syndrome, and eosinophilia is noted in approximately 15% of cases. Here, we report a unique presentation of HL in a 52-year-old male with a history of chronic pruritus, chronic kidney disease, and inactive hepatitis B.

Itch, also known as pruritus, is one of the most prevalent symptoms observed in dermatological practices. Itch frequently arises from primary pruritic dermatoses, although it may also manifest in the absence of a primary pruritic skin rash. The latter itchy condition is referred to as "cutaneous pruritus" in the Japanese guidelines published in 2020.
