Exosomes are membrane-bound vesicles secreted by diverse cell types, serving as crucial mediators in intercellular communication and significantly influencing cancer development. Exosomes facilitate complex signaling processes in the tumor microenvironment for immunomodulation, metastasis, angiogenesis, and treatment resistance. Notably, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), a class of non-coding RNAs, engage with mRNA, DNA, proteins, and miRNAs to modulate gene expression through multiple mechanisms, including transcriptional, post-transcriptional, translational, and epigenetic pathways.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by its aggressive nature and dismal prognosis, largely attributed to its unique tumor microenvironment. However, the molecular mechanisms by which tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) promote PDAC progression, particularly the role of β-catenin signaling in regulating TAM phenotype and function, remain incompletely understood. Initially, we performed comprehensive analyses of RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) datasets to investigate OSM and LOXL2 expression patterns in PDAC.

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the most common microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus. Colquhounia Root Tablet (CRT), one of the Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F. (TwHF)-based therapeutics, has exhibited various functions in DN.

Liposarcoma is one of the most prevalent forms of soft tissue sarcoma, and its prognosis is highly dependent on its molecular subtypes. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) like microRNAs (miRNAs) and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) can bind various cellular targets to regulate carcinogenesis. By affecting the expressions and activities of their downstream targets post-transcriptionally, dysregulations of miRNAs can alter different oncogenic signalling pathways, mediating liposarcoma progression.

Introduction Oral verrucous carcinoma (OVC), a low-grade variation of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), is distinguished by endophytic development and a pebbly, mammillated surface. OVC, often referred to as Ackerman's tumor, has been known to involve lymph nodes but rarely spreads to regional and distant locations; when the primary tumor grows, it frequently involves surrounding tissues. Histopathologically, it has a thicker basement membrane, many reduplications, and a large area of inflammatory infiltration that resembles OSCC.
