Bisphenol A (BPA) is an "environmental obesogen" and this study aims to investigate the intergenerational impacts of BPA-induced metabolic syndrome (MetS), specifically focusing on unraveling mechanisms. Exposure to BPA induces metabolic disorders in the paternal mice, which are then transmitted to offspring, leading to late-onset MetS. Mechanistically, BPA upregulates Srebf1, which in turn promotes the Pparg-dependent transcription of Dicer1 in spermatocytes, increasing the levels of multiple sperm microRNAs (miRNAs).

Purpose: This study aimed to identify demographic and clinical factors associated with low maturation rates and to investigate if the rate of immature oocytes impacts the outcomes of mature sibling oocytes.
Methods: Women undergoing their first IVF-ICSI cycle between 2018 and 2022 at a fertility clinic were included. Cycles were classified into five groups according to the proportion of Metaphase II stage oocytes (MII): Null (0% MII, n = 46), Poor (1-25% MII, n = 44), Low (26-50% MII, n = 453), Acceptable (51-75% MII, n = 1641), and Optimal (76-100% MII, n = 2642).

Objective: The objective of the systematic review will be to evaluate the effect of paternity leave or fathers' parental leave on infant mortality rate, hospitalization, vaccination compliance, and breastfeeding duration.
Introduction: Current studies indicate that paternity leave positively affects infant health, but there is a significant lack of synthesized research on its impact on key infant health indicators. A systematic review of the existing evidence will help identify best practices and guide further research and policy development in this area.

Background: Childhood allergic diseases are a global concern; quite limited studies have examined the impacts of parental age at delivery. This study aimed to explore the association between separate and combined parental age at delivery and childhood allergic diseases and whether adequate breastfeeding could modify this association.
Methods: This cross-sectional study sampled 15,976 children from Shanghai, China.
