The incorporation of a selenoimidazolium-based chalcogen bond (ChB) donor into a bis-heteroleptic Ru(II) complex (Ru-Se) has been designed for the first time to explore its anion-sensing properties and understand its selectivity to specific classes of anions. Photophysical studies demonstrate the receptor's selectivity toward phosphates, while H NMR displays its ability to recognize both I and HPO among the different halides and oxoanions through ChB interaction in CHCN and dimethyl sulfoxide- solvents, respectively. Additionally, microscopic studies such as DLS and TEM reveal that the selective turn-on sensing of HPO and HPO compared to I is driven by supramolecular aggregation behavior.

The study focuses on the synthesis of VO microcubes for the non-enzymatic colorimetric determination of HO.Vanadium oxide nanostructures are known for their redox activity and layered structures, making VO a valuable material for sensing applications. The characterization of the prepared sample was done using XPS, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and SEM techniques.

Objective: To analyze the effect of the thoracoabdominal rebalancing (TAR) method on respiratory biomechanics, respiratory discomfort, pain sensation, and physiological parameters in moderate preterm newborns, compared to a control group.
Methods: This randomized clinical trial was conducted in a neonatal intensive care unit. The evaluation included: Neonatal Infant Pain Scale, physiological parameters, Silverman-Andersen score, and biomechanics (thoracic cirtometry and Charpy angle).

Context: Designing efficient sensitive materials for the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as ethanol, acetone, and benzene is stringent owing to the significant environmental and health risks induced by these compounds, in addition to their role as biomarkers for chronic diseases and food quality. This study investigates the adsorption mechanisms of VOC molecules (ethanol, acetone, and benzene) on both non-oxidized and oxidized SnO (110) monolayers and identifies the most suitable surface for gas sensing applications. For this, we examined structural properties, adsorption energies, density of states, gas responses, and recovery times.
