Based on the repertory grid technique, we developed Explore Your Meanings (EYME), a digital platform that helps patients explore identity values and internal conflicts using virtual reality (VR). EYME was part of a research project treating depression in young adults, including 10 weekly, 1-h sessions aimed at changing personal constructs-cognitive schemas that shape how individuals interpret reality. We present the case of Mary, a 21-year-old woman diagnosed with persistent major depressive disorder and social phobia.

In clinical movement biomechanics, kinematic measurements are collected to characterise the motion of articulating joints and investigate how different factors influence movement patterns. Representative time-series signals are calculated to encapsulate (complex and multidimensional) kinematic datasets succinctly. Exacerbated by numerous difficulties to consistently define joint coordinate frames, the influence of local frame orientation and position on the characteristics of the resultant kinematic signals has been previously proven to be a major limitation.

This article explores the use of coercive measures, particularly mechanical and pharmacological restraints, in disability care settings and mental health services from a bioethical perspective, focusing on how these practices impact the human rights of individuals with mental disorder, focusing on how these practices impact the human rights of individuals with mental disorders. A robust bioethical framework is presented, advocating for principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, dignity, dialogical justice, distributive justice, and vulnerability. These principles are integrated to reframe interventions and promote respect for patient rights.

Background: Resilience plays a role in workforce retention and has been linked to job satisfaction, quality of life, and organizational commitment in nursing faculty. Research on the nature of faculty resilience, however, remains sparse.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to the understanding of nurse faculty resilience by describing examples of specific ways that a group of newly hired nursing faculty enacted resilience during their first few years on the job.

Yet, we know little about what these strategy combinations look like, how they function, or how individual differences influence these phenomena. We addressed these issues in two, 2-week daily diary studies performed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic ( = 422; data collected April and September 2020).
