Purpose: To determine the accuracy of two axis-marking methods for toric intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, one picture-assisted approach based on scleral vessel vectors, and the other based on a self-leveling device for manual marking.
Methods: This retrospective single-center study involved 60 eyes of 51 participants, who underwent phacoemulsification with toric IOL implantation. In all eyes, preoperative markings were made in a seated position both manually via a self-leveling corneal marker (RoboMarker), and digitally on slit-lamp photographs, defining scleral vessels as landmarks, aiding to find the correct intraoperative orientation for an angular graduation instrument.

An elderly woman presented with subacute, bilateral, severe vision loss and pronounced panuveitis. She also noted a skin lesion on her ankle, and biopsy of the lesion revealed necrotising vasculitis and granulomatous inflammation of small vessels. Although the organ involvement in this case is atypical, a granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA)-like syndrome was suspected.

The series includes three PXF patients treated with TST for dislocated IOLs.Case descriptionThe first case is an 88-years old woman with recurrent IOL dislocation post-Hoffman pocket fixation.

Purpose: To evaluate time to first additional treatment following intravitreal 0.19 mg fluocinolone acetonide (FAc) in non-infectious uveitis with posterior segment involvement (NIU-PS) in a real-world setting.
Methods: Prospective observational study on 37 eyes (30 patients) with chronic or recurrent NIU-PS, treated with FAc after achieving control - indicated by absence of vitreous haze or clearly visible posterior pole.

Background: To evaluate refractive, visual, and patient-reported outcomes three months after bilateral implantation of a novel bi-aspheric, non-diffractive extended depth of focus (EDOF) intraocular lens (IOL) using PhaseRing technology to achieve good vision across distances with reduced dysphotopsia.
Methods: Twenty-two patients received bilateral Asqelio EDOF IOLs (AST VisionCare Inc.) and were evaluated 3 months post-surgery.
