This poster presents an assessment to which extent the data submission to one of the largest trauma registries worldwide can be structured compliant to the clincial document architecture (CDA) and semantically annotated. Overall, complete annotation was achieved for 75% of the items, for the remaining ones annotation failed due to missing codes or concepts for individual items or values of value sets.

Adjuvant endocrine therapy (AET) is essential for improving survival and reducing mortality and recurrence rates in breast cancer (BrCa) patients. However, the adherence to AET among BrCa patients is poor, and there is no scale to measure adherence to AET or the reasons for non-adherence among BrCa patients in mainland China. The aim of this study was to assess the psychometric properties of the simple Chinese version of the Medication Adherence Reasons (MAR) scale in BrCa patients undergoing AET.

Large language models (LLMs) are rapidly being adopted in healthcare, necessitating standardized reporting guidelines. We present transparent reporting of a multivariable model for individual prognosis or diagnosis (TRIPOD)-LLM, an extension of the TRIPOD + artificial intelligence statement, addressing the unique challenges of LLMs in biomedical applications. TRIPOD-LLM provides a comprehensive checklist of 19 main items and 50 subitems, covering key aspects from title to discussion.

Background: There exists clinical equipoise regarding whether and when an invasive approach should be preferred over conservative treatment in the management of stable late ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) presenting within 12 to 72 h of symptom onset.
Objective: To perform a systematic review to identify the most effective treatment strategy between percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and medical therapy in stable late STEMI presenters by comparing their respective outcomes as well as determine the optimal timing of PCI by evaluating the outcomes of urgent versus non-urgent PCI approach in this patient population.
Methods: PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane databases were queried from inception until March 2024 for studies comparing the outcomes of PCI versus medical therapy, as well as urgent versus non-urgent PCI, in stable late STEMI patients presenting with symptom onset within 12-72 h.

Extreme precipitation is a crucial trigger for soil erosion events in karst regions. However, the existence of a scale effect in suspended sediment characteristics of karst basins and which extreme precipitation variables control this effect remain unclear. To investigate this, we analyzed the scale effect on suspended sediment characteristics using monthly hydrological data from five karst basins of varying scales, consistently monitored from 2012 to 2019.

Purpose: Real-world evidence (RWE) is increasingly considered in regulatory and health technology assessment (HTA) decision-making, though perspectives on its relevance may vary. Expanding on a recent review regarding regulatory decisions, this study aimed to identify factors influencing the need for RWE in HTA decision-making, confirm and enrich factors with stakeholder views, and evaluate similarities and differences between regulatory and HTA needs.
Methods: Previous scoping review methodology was used to identify factors influencing the need for RWE in HTA decision-making.
