Objective: To determine the efficacy of prophylactic medications for migraine in reducing associated dizziness and motion sickness.
Study Design: Multicenter prospective observational study.
Setting: Nationwide 9 Dizziness Clinics in South Korea.
Patients: One hundred thirty-eight patients who required a preventive medication for migraine accompanied by dizziness and motion sickness.
Intervention: At least one of the prophylactic medications was prescribed among the beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, tricyclic antidepressants, and antiepileptic drugs.
Main Outcome Measure: For 3 months from the index visit, the patients had monthly assessments of the headache (frequency and duration), dizziness handicap inventory, University of California Los Angeles dizziness questionnaire, vertigo symptom scale, and motion sickness score.
Results: The prophylactic medications significantly improved the headache profiles, all three parameters of dizziness (dizziness handicap inventory, University of California Los Angeles dizziness questionnaire, and vertigo symptom scale), and severity of motion sickness (p < 0.001).
Conclusion: The prophylactic medication for migraine also improves associated dizziness and motion sickness as well as the headaches.

Instrumented gait analysis is widely used in clinical settings for the early detection of neurological disorders, monitoring disease progression, and evaluating fall risk. However, the gold-standard marker-based 3D motion analysis is limited by high time and personnel demands. Advances in computer vision now enable markerless whole-body tracking with high accuracy.

Introduction: Dynamic vertebral artery insufficiency is a rare vascular phenomenon characterized by insufficient flow of the posterior cerebral circulation induced by dynamic motion of the head. Prior case reports have been limited to vertebral artery occlusion by cervical osteophytes or other structural impingements.
Case Report: In this case report, we discuss the unusual case of a 61-year-old female with a history of vertigo, diplopia, nystagmus, and left subclavian stenosis admitted to the hospital for syncope elicited by a left head turn and left shoulder raise.

Introduction: Vestibular migraine (VM), particularly its chronic variant, poses a diagnostic challenge. Patients suffering from VM may not have the characteristic headaches associated with the dizziness. In these cases, a marker for migraine pathology in general could help appropriately diagnose certain types of dizziness as migrainous despite these patients not meeting current diagnostic criteria for VM.

Introduction: Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD) is the most prevalent chronic functional dizziness in the clinic. Unsteadiness, dizziness, or non-spinning vertigo are the main symptoms of PPPD, and they are typically aggravated by upright posture, active or passive movement, and visual stimulation. The pathogenesis of PPPD remains incompletely understood, and it cannot be attributed to any specific anatomical defect within the vestibular system.
