[Purpose] Although hallux function is fundamental in maintaining forward leaning standing posture, the insight into whether noncontact of the hallux with the ground alters the forward limit of stability (LoS) remains unclear. Thus, we aimed to determine the effects of the unilateral hallux noncontact on the forward LoS while standing. Introduction: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a heterogeneous neurodevelopmental condition diagnosed clinically based on phenotypic characteristics and criteria such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). Due to its significant social, emotional, and psychological impacts, early identification and diagnosis are crucial for starting early intervention and improving outcomes. A screening tool is imperative in identifying young children at risk so timely intervention can be instituted.

Background: Heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) is a common disorder interfering with physical, emotional and social domains, and overall quality of life (QoL). The Heavy Menstrual Bleeding-Visual Analog Scale (HMB-VAS) tool, including the VAS for menstrual bleeding intensity (VAS-Int) and the VAS for its interference with daily activities (VAS-Imp), is useful for HMB screening. The SAMANTA questionnaire (SAMANTA-Q) was developed and psychometrically validated in Spanish to easily identify women with HMB.

This study aimed to assess the validity and reliability of a questionnaire on patient acceptance of orthodontic retainers. The original questionnaire was forward- and backward-translated, followed by four validity tests (content validity, face validity, construct validity, criterion validity) and two reliability tests (test-retest reliability, internal consistency). Content validity was assessed by nine orthodontists who appraised the questionnaire's representativeness, relevance, clarity, and necessity.
