Background: High blood pressure (BP) is linked to unhealthy lifestyles, and its treatment includes medications and exercise therapy. Many previous studies have evaluated the effects of exercise on BP improvement; however, exercise requires securing a location, time, and staff, which can be challenging in clinical settings. The antihypertensive effects of dance exercise for patients with hypertension have already been verified, and it has been found that adherence and dropout rates are better compared to other forms of exercise.

Organic-inorganic hybrid materials are explored for application as solid electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. The material consists of a porous silica network, of which the pores are infiltrated by poly(ethylene oxide) and lithium perchlorate. The synthesis involves two steps: First, the inorganic backbone is created by the acid-catalyzed sol-gel synthesis of tetraethyl orthosilicate to ensure continuity of the backbone in three dimensions.

Background: There has been great progress towards identifying plasma biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease (AD), though few studies have investigated interactions between proteomic measures and AD pathology. We aimed to identify plasma proteins predictive of episodic memory decline, an early clinical sign of AD, and assess whether such associations were altered by the presence of AD pathology.
Method: Vanderbilt Memory and Aging Project participants (n=350, 73±7 years, 41% female) without dementia at baseline underwent blood draw and serial neuropsychological assessments over 9-year follow-up (mean=6.

Korea University, Seongbuk-gu, Korea, Republic of (South).
Background: In rapidly developing countries like India, individuals undergo fluctuations in social status throughout their lives. However, there have been few investigations of the link between life course socioeconomic status and cognitive function in late middle age, particularly regarding whether upward and downward mobility exert symmetric effects. Furthermore, limited attention has been directed toward understanding gender heterogeneity within this association.
