Vitiligo is a common long-term depigmenting skin disorder that is characterized by patches of skin losing their pigment. To evaluate serum/tissue levels of miR-16, 146a, 19b and 720 in vitiligo patients and healthy controls, also analyzing the correlations between all biomarkers to indicate whether those can be used to early diagnose vitiligo patients. Forty-subjects were included, divided into two equal groups, 20 healthy matched individuals and 20 vitiligo patients.

Homocystinuria is a disorder of methionine metabolism leading to abnormal accumulation of homocysteine and its metabolites in blood and urine. This condition presents with a wide range of cutaneous and systemic features. This case report focuses on the particular cutaneous finding of silvery hair in this patient and its examination under a microscope that reveals an unusual and not yet reported finding of melanin clumps.

However, few case series regarding the clinical course, polyp surveillance, and treatment, including endoscopic ischemic polypectomy (EIP) for pediatric patients with PJS, were reported. We analyzed the current status and clinical course of pediatric patients with PJS under the management of our institute, including those treated with EIP.

Conjunctival malignant melanoma is extremely rare, with no standard of care established at moment. Here we report a 65-year-old woman, as a hepatitis B virus (HBV) carrier, who presented concurrently a liver mass and lower bulbar conjunctival pigmented lesions in the right eye. Needle liver biopsy and excisional conjunctival biopsy showed hepatocellular carcinoma and conjunctival malignant melanoma , respectively.

Introduction And Importance: Melanosis of the bladder is a rare condition defined by the development of melanin in the bladder's urothelium and/or macrophages in the lamina propria. This condition first became known in humans in 1986, with fewer than 30 cases described in the English medical literature to date.
Case Report: We present the rare case of bladder melanosis affecting an 85-year-old patient.
