Effectively managing and optimizing energy resources to accommodate population growth while minimizing carbon emissions has become increasingly intricate. A proficient approach to this dilemma is accurately predicting energy usage and emissions across diverse sectors. This paper unveils a genetic algorithm (GA)-optimized support vector regression (SVR) model designed to (i) predict electricity generation, (ii) predict energy consumption in four primary sectors-residential, industrial, commercial, and agricultural, and (iii) estimate sector-specific carbon emissions.

Background: Airway obstruction secondary to chyle leak is an exceptionally rare phenomenon. Here, we describe this complication in a patient with anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC) undergoing consolidative surgery after BRAF-targeted therapy.
Methods: A 55-year-old man presented with a rapidly enlarging neck mass.
Background: Anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have significantly changed the multiple myeloma treatment landscape. This meta-analysis compared the efficacy and safety of anti-CD38 mAb-based therapy versus standard therapy in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) patients.
Methods: We performed a comprehensive literature search on PubMed, the Cochrane Database, and ClinicalTrials.

Objective: This study aimed to clarify the relationship between the directions of humeral head translation, the presence of acromial or coracoid spurs, and the locations of tendon tears in massive rotator cuff tears. Thirty shoulders from thirty patients with massive rotator cuff tears who underwent reverse shoulder arthroplasty were included. Preoperative 3DCT classified humeral head translation into three groups: minimal type, posterosuperior type, and anterosuperior type.

Purpose: Our previous study has demonstrated that high expression of immune checkpoints (ICs) was significantly associated with adverse clinical outcomes in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This study aims to investigate the significance of the alteration of IC co-expression for evaluating the prognosis of AML patients following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT).
Patients And Methods: Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) data of bone marrow (BM) samples from 62 de novo AML patients, including 37 patients who received allo-HSCT and 25 patients who received chemotherapy only, were used for prognostic analysis.
