Background: Total-body (TB) Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is one of the most promising medical diagnostics modalities, opening new perspectives for personalized medicine, low-dose imaging, multi-organ dynamic imaging or kinetic modeling. The high sensitivity provided by total-body technology can be advantageous for novel tomography methods like positronium imaging, demanding the registration of triple coincidences. Currently, state-of-the-art PET scanners use inorganic scintillators.

Purpose: To comprehensively evaluate the tilt of the crystalline lens in phakic eyes and its relationship with optical biometry parameters.
Setting: The retrospective analysis was conducted at the Department for Ophthalmology and Optometry, Kepler University Clinic in Linz, Austria.
Design: Lens tilt assessment was performed through a combined analysis of optical biometry (IOL Master 700) and anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) data to understand its relationship.

Abnormal trochlear morphology is one of the most important factors for patellar luxation occurrence in dogs, yet no studies have investigated its prevalence in the general population. This retrospective computed tomography study was designed to evaluate the trochlear groove morphology in four small dog breeds and the prevalence of trochlear dysplasia types according to Déjour's classification depending on the breed, sex, and medial patellar luxation (MPL) presence and grade. A total of 174 joints (68 healthy, 96 grade II MPL, and 10 grade III MPL) from Mini-Pinschers, Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranians, and Chihuahuas were included in the study.

Choroidal thickness (ChT) is an important measurement for evaluating eye and systemic disorders, but it is influenced by numerous elements, especially axial length (AL). It is known that the presence of a linear relationship between ChT and AL exists, but recently it has been shown that the AL measurement obtained with the current optical biometry is not very precise and needs to be corrected. This study aimed to verify if a similar correlation also persists with this corrected AL (ALc).
