Objectives: To evaluate the reliability of CT measurement of canine elbow axial radioulnar congruence using a duplicated circle superimposition technique.
Materials And Methods: CT of six cadaveric canine elbows was performed following either: (1) placement of an external fixator on the radius with ostectomy and radial shortening of 1 to 5 mm; (2) radial lengthening of 1 to 5 mm using a radial lengthening system; or, (3) no axial length adjustment. Four observers, on two occasions, blinded to the amount of radial adjustment, placed a circle of best fit of the ulnar trochlear notch on a sagittal image that was duplicated and transposed to the articular contour of the radial head; then the axial distance between circles relative to the dorsal radius was measured. Statistical analysis assessed differences between actual and observer-assessed radial length adjustment; inter-/intra-observer interclass correlation coefficients and sensitivity/specificity were calculated to evaluate measurement reliability.
Results: There was not a significant difference between actual and observer measures of radioulnar congruence. Inter- (intraclass correlation coefficient=0.98) and intra-observer reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient=0.94 to 0.99) were almost perfect for measurement of radioulnar incongruence when compared to the actual radial adjustment. A Bland-Altman plot revealed a 95% confidence interval range of -1.31 to 1.16 mm. Sensitivity and specificity were high for correct identification of congruent elbows and elbows with 1 or 2 mm incongruency.
Clinical Significance: The duplicated circle superimposition technique provides a simple and accurate means of assessing radioulnar axial incongruence.

Viroids are the smallest replicative pathogens, consisting of RNA circles (∼300 nucleotides) that require host machinery to replicate. Structural RNA elements recruit these host factors. Currently, many of these structural elements and the nature of their interactions are unknown.

In 1847, Domenico Ragona-Scinà (1820-1892) published a method of optically superimposing images using an angled piece of colored glass. He showed that if one looks at a black, filled circle through the colored glass and superimposes on it the reflection from the glass of something white, the filled circle looks tinted with the complementary color of the background: simultaneous color contrast or contrast color. Although Ragona-Scinà's method and his observation have been cited into the 21st century, the former for its simplicity and the latter for its challenges to early theories of color vision, some errors have crept in and the phenomenon still lacks an agreed-on explanation.

Purpose: To suggest a simple and robust technique used to reconstruct high-quality computed tomographic (CT) angiographic images from CT perfusion data and to compare it with currently used CT angiography techniques.
Materials And Methods: Institutional review board approval was waived for this retrospective study, which included 25 consecutive patients who had had a stroke. Temporal maximum intensity projection (tMIP) CT angiographic images were created by using prior temporal filtering as a timing-insensitive technique to produce CT angiographic images from CT perfusion data.

Flat panel detector-based cone beam breast CT (CBBCT) can provide 3D image of the scanned breast with 3D isotropic spatial resolution, overcoming the disadvantage of the structure superimposition associated with X-ray projection mammography. It is very difficult for Mammography to detect a small carcinoma (a few millimeters in size) when the tumor is occult or in dense breast. CBBCT featured with circular scan might be the most desirable mode in breast imaging due to its simple geometrical configuration and potential applications in functional imaging.
