A rare autopsy case of malignant transcription factor E3 (TFE3)-rearranged perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa)-like neoplasm is presented. An 84-year-old woman manifested multiple cerebral infarctions and repetitive embolic events in the supra mesenchymal artery (SMA), and the presence of a mobile mass in the heart's left ventricle was also revealed. Tumoral lesions were also found in a pelvic space and a right pleural cavity, and a biopsy was performed from one of the disseminated tumor masses in the right pleura.

In endoscopic surgery for hydrocephalus and associated intraventricular lesions, a thorough understanding of the required microsurgical anatomy is paramount. Endoscopic procedures in hydrocephalus treatment typically fall into two categories: ventriculocisternostomy and ventriculostomy for obstructive hydrocephalus. In the former, precise knowledge of intraventricular structures, such as the configuration of the ventricles and the path of internal vessels within them, is essential.

Beat-by-beat monitoring of hemodynamic parameters in the left ventricle contributes to the early diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, valvular heart disease, and other cardiovascular diseases. Current accurate measurement methods for ventricular hemodynamic parameters are inconvenient for monitoring hemodynamic indexes in daily life. The objective of this study is to propose a method for estimating intraventricular hemodynamic parameters in a beat-to-beat style based on non-invasive PCG (phonocardiogram) and PPG (photoplethysmography) signals.

Venous pulsation is a marker of central venous pressure elevation and may be improved after heart failure treatment. Herein, we report two cases of low-birth-weight infants (29 weeks and 31 weeks of gestational age), who exhibited improvements in ICV pulsation with relief of hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (hs-PDA) following indomethacin administration.
