Following publication of the original article [1], the authors identified a number of errors. In Result (P.3), Table 1 (P.4), Table 5 (P.9) and Supplementary Table 1, the correct unit for adiponectin was μg/mL. In Table 1 (P.4), the correct value for the post treatment body weight in dapagliflozin was 76.2±14.8. In Table 6 (P.10), the correct value for the pre treatment sd LDL/LDL-C in decreased LDL-C group was 0.38±0.10.

Background: Mandibular angle osteotomy (MAO) is a popular procedure to improve facial aesthetics, however, over-resection of the mandibular angle can lead to both functional and aesthetic challenges. Precision is essential in restoring these over-resected mandibles to achieve balanced outcomes. Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) implants offer biocompatibility, durability, and customization potential, making them valuable for achieving precise and predictable results.

1. Analysis of co-occurrence data with traditional indices has led to many problems such as sensitivity of the indices to prevalence and the same value representing either a strong positive or strong negative association across different datasets. In our recent study (Mainali et al 2022), we revealed the source of the problems that make the traditional indices fundamentally flawed and unreliable-namely that the indices in common use have no target of estimation quantifying degree of association in the non-null case-and we further developed a novel parameter of association, alpha, with complete formulation of the null distribution for estimating the mechanism of affinity.

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is sensitive to soil moisture, but the effects of vegetation on SAR signals poses challenges for soil moisture retrieval in areas covered with vegetation. In this study, based on Sentinel-1 SAR and Sentinel-2 optical remote sensing data, a coupling approach was employed to retrieval surface soil moisture over dense vegetated areas.

Introduction: Aseptic recalcitrant nonunion (ARNU) of the femur and tibia is an entity in which the absence of bony union, misalignment, and limb length discrepancies (LLD) coexist. Currently, the management of these cases lacks consensus. This study aimed to describe the bone union rate and deformity correction outcomes in patients with ARNU of the femur or tibia treated with the Induced Membrane Technique (IMT).

The NN-based optimized detection scheme consists of two components, an NN-based lookup table (NN-LUT) and an NN-based log-maximum estimation with a fixed number of surviving state (NN-MAP) decoder. The NN-LUT provides more accurate and sufficient information (PI) to the decoder than the conventional filter-form PI without increasing computational complexity.
