Indium chloride (In-Cl) scintigraphy has been used to evaluate various hematological diseases for many years. However, there have been few reports on patients with bone marrow reconversion showing high uptake in In-Cl scintigraphy. Herein, we report a case of a 68-year-old man with esophageal cancer who underwent F-FDG PET/CT for staging of the disease. F-FDG PET/CT demonstrated high uptake in the first lumbar vertebral body, which was difficult to distinguish bone metastasis and bone marrow reconversion. In-Cl scintigraphy demonstrated specific findings with high uptake in the lesion, indicating bone marrow hyperplasia or reconversion.

Purpose: The Centiloid project helps calibrate the quantitative amyloid-β (Aβ) load into a unified Centiloid (CL) scale that allows data comparison across multi-site. How the smaller regional amyloid converted into CL has not been attempted. We first aimed to express regional Aβ deposition in CL using Flutemetamol and evaluate regional Aβ deposition in CL with that in standardized uptake value ratio (SUVr).

Objective: The Centiloid (CL) scale is a standardized measure for quantifying amyloid deposition in amyloid positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. We aimed to assess the agreement among 3 CL calculation methods: CapAIBL, VIZCalc, and Amyquant.

Methods: This study included 192 participants (mean age: 71.

Transporter-mediated drug-drug interactions (DDIs) are of concern in antimicrobial drug development, as they can have serious safety consequences. We used positron emission tomography (PET) imaging-based pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis to assess the effect of different drugs, which may cause transporter-mediated DDIs, on the tissue distribution and excretion of [F]ciprofloxacin as a radiolabeled model antimicrobial drug. Mice underwent PET scans after intravenous injection of [F]ciprofloxacin, without and with pretreatment with either probenecid (150 mg/kg), cimetidine (50 mg/kg), or pyrimethamine (5 mg/kg).

Background: In[In]-BnDTPA-trastuzumab-NLS is a radiopharmaceutical with theranostic applications for imaging and Meitner-Auger electron (MAE) radioimmunotherapy (RIT) of HER2-positive breast cancer (BC). Nuclear localization sequence (NLS) peptides route the radiopharmaceutical to the nucleus of HER2-positive BC cells following receptor-mediated internalization for RIT with subcellular range MAEs. The γ-photons emitted by In permit tumour imaging by SPECT.

Lymphocintilographic evaluation of lymphatic circulation in victims of circuferential degloving injuries of the lower limbs.

- Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, Serviço de Cirurgia Plástica - São Paulo - SP - Brasil.

Introduction: secondary forms of lymphedema may occur as consequence of tumors, surgeries, radiotherapy, trauma and infections. Degloving injuries are severe and infrequent forms of trauma, with avulsion at the level of muscular fascia, and consequent injury of the lymphatic system.

Objective: to evaluate the alterations in lymphatic circulation in patients being victims of circumferential degloving injuries in the lower limbs, using lymphoscintigraphic.
