Desktop three-dimensional (3D) printers are used in businesses, schools, and colleges, and are generally of an unenclosed design which may give rise to injuries or inhalation exposure to emissions of small particles (<1 µm) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The aim of this work was to explore the health risks related to the use of desktop 3D printers in workplaces in the United Kingdom. A digital survey on the use of desktop 3D printers was completed voluntarily and anonymously between February and June 2023, receiving 146 responses.

(L.)Jongkind, distributed in Southeast Asia, is widely planted in southern China for its ornamental and medicinal value. In February 2023, anthracnose symptoms were observed on leaves in Nanning Garden Expo (N22°43', E108°28'), Guangxi, China, causing severe defoliation of infected plants with a foliar disease incidence ranging from 40 to 60% (n = 100) in a 2 ha field.

Objectives: Firefighters work with dogs as support for their search activities for victims. Firefighters who handle dogs supposedly have higher acute muscle pain, more stumbling, and fatigue. This study aimed to verify the influence of a mantrailing dog on the firefighter's psychophysiological and muscular responses and the number of imbalances in a simulated activity of searching for people.

Context: Workplace noise regulations and guidance follow the hierarchy of control model that prioritizes eliminating or reducing noise at its source.

Objectives: To determine the main sources of workplace noise exposure in the Australian working population and estimate the reduction of workers exposed over the noise limit (LAeq,8h > 85 dB) if noise levels of specific tools or equipment were reduced by 10 dB.

Methods: Information on the tools used and tasks performed during each participant's last working shift was collected from 4,977 workers via telephone survey.
