- A new real-time feedback system has been designed to enhance beam position and energy at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility's hard X-ray nanoprobe beamline.
- The system separates the beam position signals into high-frequency and low-frequency components, which are corrected using two different types of optical components with varying inertial masses.
- Experimental results show a marked improvement in stability, reducing beam angular fluctuations significantly, from 2.21 to 0.92 µrad RMS horizontally and from 0.72 to 0.10 µrad RMS vertically.
Correction: Reduction of pulmonary toxicity of metal oxide nanoparticles by phosphonate-based surface passivation.
