This study aims to provide an updated overview of medical error taxonomies by building on a robust review conducted in 2011. It seeks to identify the key characteristics of the most suitable taxonomy for use in high-fidelity simulation-based postgraduate courses in Critical Care. While many taxonomies are available, none seem to be explicitly designed for the unique context of healthcare simulation-based education, in which errors are regarded as essential learning opportunities.

In the twenty-first century, maritime routes are crucial for geographical and financial reasons in riverine countries. Compared to the available technology abroad, Bangladesh has insufficient monitoring of water vessels to tackle any possible disaster, such as vessel collisions for inland water transportation. One of the frequent outcomes of this architecture is regular capsizing, which sometimes leads to loss of lives.

Bronchoscopy courses should be an integral part of bronchoscopy training. Course graduates should be familiar with the indications, prerequisites and technical possibilities of bronchoscopy. In addition to theoretical content, practical bronchoscopic skills are taught and trained in small supervised groups using various methods of simulation-based bronchoscopy training.

Global warming concerns have led to emission regulations and various incentives for low-carbon technologies. Energy system models, which are used to examine how investments affect our ability to meet energy demand, are typically based on two assumptions: key parameters are assumed to be known deterministically and a multi-period energy transition plan is determined at one point in time. We argue that for a systematic generation and analysis of energy transition pathways, these assumptions should be relaxed and, accordingly, we propose methods to achieve that.

Objectives: The recent shift from traditional surgical teaching to the incorporation of simulation training in plastic surgery has resulted in the development of a variety of simulation models and tools. We aimed to assess the validity and establish the effectiveness of all currently available simulators and tools for plastic surgery.
Design: Systematic review.
