Surgical vestibular deepening procedures are well established and are being routinely performed.In spite of being an old technique, postoperative results in most of the instances are disappointing. Usually eventual loss of the clinically gained vestibular depth obtained through the surgical procedures occurs. This happens mainly due to rapid epithelialisation of the surgical wound and healing by scarring. Therefore, in the present case, after the initial incision, the labial free end of flap was sutured by a new technique so as to prevent rapid epithelialisation. Finally, the incision was completed and vestibular deepening was achieved with the help of diode laser as they are reported to produce remarkably less scarring at the surgical site.

This clinical report describes how a decubital ulcer arose from the direct contact of the vestibular movable mucous membrane against mini-implant balled-type heads after the mini-implant insertion in the edentulous atrophic mandible of a 78-year-old patient who was not wearing a conventional mandibular complete denture for more than 10 years. Due to severe alveolar ridge atrophy, mini-implant insertion (2.0 mm wide) was an option without extensive surgical procedures.

The most prevalent mucogingival issues include insufficient gingival width, decreased vestibular depth, abnormal frenal attachment, gingival recession, pockets that reach the mucogingival junction, excess gingival, inconsistent gingival margin, excessive gingival display and abnormal gingival colour. Numerous periodontal plastic operations have been used to treat these issues. However, each approach has its own drawbacks and is technique-dependent.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore seizure semiology and the effects of intracerebral electrical stimulation on the human posterior cingulate cortex (PCC) using Stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) to deepen our comprehension of posterior cingulate epilepsy (PCE).
Methods: This study examined the characteristics of seizures through video documentation, by assessing the outcomes of intracranial electrical stimulation (iES) during SEEG. We further identified the connection between the observed semiology and precise anatomical locations within the PCC subregions where seizure onset zones (SOZ) were identified.
