Background: Upfront 2-stent techniques are often used in bifurcation percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), but there is controversy about optimal strategy selection.

Methods: The authors examined the clinical and angiographic characteristics and long-term outcomes of 232 bifurcation PCIs that were performed using the double kissing (DK) crush or culotte technique in 216 patients between 2014 and 2023 using data from the Prospective Global Registry for the Study of Bifurcation Lesion Interventions (NCT05100992). The inverse probability of treatment weighted (IPTW) Cox proportional hazards model was used to assess long-term outcomes.

Background: Osteoporosis is the leading cause of vertebral fractures. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and radiographs are traditionally used to detect osteoporosis and vertebral fractures/deformities. Peripheral nerves possess a degree of regenerative ability, and actively promoting their recovery can help restore the sensory and functional capacities of tissues. The neuropeptide calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) is believed to regulate the repair of injured peripheral nerves, with neuronal transient receptor potential vanilloid type 1 (TRPV1) potentially serving as a crucial upstream factor.

The study aimed to investigate the factors associated with early necrosis of the finger after reimplantation of broken fingers. Sixty-seven cases of reimplantation of severed fingers in our hospital between January 2023 and December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent reimplantation of severed fingers and were divided into early necrosis group and non-necrosis group according to the presence or absence of early necrosis of the finger body 7 days after surgery.
