Purpose Of Review: The purpose of this article is to review the most relevant conceptual models of borderline personality disorder (BPD), with a focus on recent developments in this area.
Recent Findings: Several conceptual models have been proposed with the aim of better understanding BPD: the borderline personality organization, emotion dysregulation, reflective (mentalization) dysfunction, interpersonal hypersensitivity and hyperbolic temperament models. These models have all been supported to some extent and their common components include disorganized attachment and traumatic early experiences, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal sensitivity and difficulties with social cognition. An attempt to integrate some components of the conceptual models of BPD has resulted in an emerging new perspective, the interpersonal dysphoria model, which emphasizes dysphoria as an overarching phenomenon that connects the dispositional and situational aspects of BPD.
Summary: Various conceptual models have expanded our understanding of BPD, but it appears that further development entails theoretical integration. More research is needed to better understand interactions between various components of BPD, including the situational factors that activate symptoms of BPD. This will help develop therapeutic approaches that are more tailored to the heterogeneous psychopathology of BPD.

Efforts to effect racial health disparity (RHD) policy change are urgent, necessary, and subject to a key barrier: defensiveness among White privileged audiences. Within the literature to date, such defensiveness is under-investigated, and when examined, is typically conceived of as an individual cognitive outcome-a message effect-rather than a communication interaction. Yet policy change advocacy efforts, ranging from community organizing to change campaigns, necessitate communication interactions between advocates and privileged policy change audiences, such as neighborhood groups or policymakers themselves.

The creation of spatially coupled meso-/microenvironments with biomimetic compartmentalized functionalities is of great significance to achieve efficient signal transduction and amplification. Herein, using a soft-template strategy, UiO-67-type hierarchically mesoporous metal-organic frameworks (HMMOFs) were constructed to satisfy the requirements of such an artificial system. The key to the successful synthesis of HMUiO-67 is rooted in the utilization of the preformed cerium-oxo clusters as metal precursors, aligning the growth of MOF crystals with the mild conditions required for the self-assembly of the soft template.

This paper reports the development and refinement of Witness Project Lung, a community-based initiative tailored to the specific needs of the Black community, aiming to improve awareness and engagement with lung cancer screening.
Methods: Utilizing a user-centered design and guided by the original Witness Project framework - an evidence-based lay health advisor intervention program originally developed to increase knowledge and awareness about breast cancer risk and screening in the Black community and later trans-created to the cervical and colorectal cancer screening contexts - Witness Project Lung was developed and refined through qualitative input from key stakeholders in the Black faith community.
