The structural evolution of the axial intensity distribution during hot image formation perturbed by a small circular optical obscuration is investigated in detail under different conditions. An analytic expression is derived for the axial intensity distribution around the conjugate plane by assuming the thickness of the nonlinear medium to be infinitely small. In view of the analysis of the axial intensity oscillation, the expression can be extensively utilized to characterize the intensity maxima for a nonlinear medium with a finite thickness. The nonlinear medium thickness and obscuration size both have great influence on the magnitudes and distributed features of the intensity maxima, which initially vary from multiple ones with comparable intensities to ultimately a maximum of one obviously remaining. The reason for this phenomenon is that the nonlinear medium acts like a low-pass filter to the scattering field, and optical interference exists between the scattering and background field. Furthermore, a fixed expression of nonlinear medium thickness and obscuration size is obtained to determine the dividing point of the alterations of the hot image intensity distribution.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary metabolizable energy levels on various performance indicators of medium-sized geese, with the goal of predicting the optimal range of these energy levels. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across several databases, including Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, China Science and Technology Journal Database, PubMed, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, covering the period from January 1, 2000, to July 1, 2024. The gathered studies focused on the impact of dietary metabolizable energy levels on the production performance of medium-sized geese.

Easily accessible through tabletop experiments, paraxial fluids of light are emerging as promising platforms for the simulation and exploration of quantumlike phenomena. In particular, the analogy builds on a formal equivalence between the governing model for a Bose-Einstein condensate under the mean-field approximation and the model of laser propagation inside nonlinear optical media under the paraxial approximation. Yet, the fact that the role of time is played by the propagation distance in the analog system imposes strong bounds on the range of accessible phenomena due to the limited length of the nonlinear medium.

Non-reciprocal optical components are indispensable in optical applications, and their realization without any magnetic field has attracted increasing research interest in photonics. Exciting experimental progress has been achieved by either introducing spatial-temporal modulation of the optical medium or combining Kerr-type optical nonlinearity with spatial asymmetry in photonic structures. However, extra driving fields are required for the first approach, while the isolation of noise and the transmission of the signal cannot be simultaneously achieved for the other approach.

In this paper, the unified approach is used in acquiring some new results to the coupled Maccari system (MS) in Itô sense with multiplicative noise. The MS is a nonlinear model used in hydrodynamics, plasma physics, and nonlinear optics to represent isolated waves in a restricted region. We provide new results with complicated structures to this model, including hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational function solutions.

This study aimed to screen native methionine gamma-lyase (L-methioninase) producing bacteria from soil samples and optimize the culture media for enhanced enzyme production using statistical design. Three bacteria, were identified as novel L-methioninase producers, which alternative source of L-methioninase for cancer treatment could be utilized alongside other therapeutic agents. The bacteria were isolated from various garden soils and cultured on a modified M9 medium and screened by Nessler reagent.
