Article Abstract

Recently, worldwide dietary reference intakes have been considered an important guideline for public health. Some governments and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide guidelines concerning dietary intake. Although an ingredient may have a history of use as a culinary material, changes in the environment over time suggest that the acceptable maximum intake each of food/culinary material should be regularly evaluated. L. has been used as a culinary material for many centuries in Korea and Japan and some recent studies have reported related therapeutic effects. However, there are no reports on the safety of repeated oral administration. In this study, we evaluated the safety of a 8-weeks repeated oral intake of . We concluded that treatment with <250 mg/kg , which was within the safety range, resulted in body weight decrease and blood glucose suppression.

Background: Fecal microbiota, live-jslm (RBL; REBYOTA®), is the first single-dose, broad consortia, microbiota-based live biotherapeutic approved by the US Food and Drug Administration to prevent recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection (rCDI) in adults following standard-of-care antimicrobials. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a common risk factor for rCDI, yet patients with IBD are often excluded from prospective trials. This subgroup analysis of PUNCH CD3-OLS (NCT03931941) evaluated the safety and efficacy of RBL in participants with rCDI and IBD.

Objective: We demonstrated for the first time the safety and feasibility of escalating up to 55 Gy/11 Gy/fr/5fr in borderline (BRPC)/unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC), using the standard LINAC platform. The aim of the present study is to assess for the first time the impact of this high-dose neoadjuvant stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABRT) protocol on tumor resectability and pathological responses.

Materials/methods: From June 2017 to December 2022, patients with BRPC/LAPC were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (ChT) and SABRT-escalated doses of SIB at 45 Gy, 50 Gy, and up to 55 Gy (BED ≥ 100).

This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of three dosing regimens of JMT103 in patients with bone metastases from solid tumors. Eligible patients were randomly assigned to receive JMT103 subcutaneously, 120 mg every 4 weeks (Cohort 1), 120 mg every 8 weeks (Cohort 2), or 180 mg every 8 weeks (Cohort 3) for up to 49 weeks. The primary endpoint was change from baseline to Week 13 in creatinine-adjusted urinary N-telopeptide (uNTx/Cr).
