Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of different irrigating solutions used in final irrigation on depth of sealer penetration into dentinal tubules.

Materials And Methods: Thirty recently extracted, human mandibular premolar teeth with single canals were randomly divided into two groups, and one of the two irrigants was used in each group - Group A (Chitosan) and Group B (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid). All the teeth were obturated with gutta-percha and AH 26 sealer labeled with fluorescent dye. The teeth were sectioned at distances 2, 5, and 8 mm from the root apex. Maximum depth of sealer penetration was measured using confocal laser scanning microscopy.

Statistical Analysis: Statistical analysis used One-way analysis of variance and -test.

Results: At coronal third depth, the sealer penetration was greater in ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) group; however, depth of sealer penetration was greater at apical third in chitosan group.

Conclusion: Final irrigation with EDTA and chitosan after the use of sodium hypochlorite affected sealer penetration.

Objectives: This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of three intra-canal sealer activation techniques: ultrasonic, Lentulospiral activation, and GP cone-mediated ultrasonic activation on dentinal tubule penetration of a bioceramic (BIO-C) root canal sealer and AH Plus jet sealer with single cone obturation.

Materials And Methods: Eighty single-rooted straight canal teeth were randomly divided into two main groups - BIO-C sealer and AH Plus jet sealer ( = 40). Each group was further divided into four subgroups, based on the three activation techniques: ultrasonics, Lentulospiral, gutta-percha cone-mediated ultrasonic, and a control.

Background: To evaluate the effect of 4 final irrigation solutions at different temperatures on dentin tubule penetration of bioceramic-based sealer using the warm vertical compaction method with a laser scanning confocal microscope (CLSM).

Methods: In total, 180 human maxillary incisors were prepared. Different final irrigation solutions [distilled water, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), peracetic acid, or 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-bisphosphonate (HEBP)] at various temperatures (25, 36, or 60˚C) were used.

Background: The micromechanical interlocking between dentinal walls and root canal sealer aids in achieving a three-dimensional impermeable hermetic seal. Calcium silicate-based bioceramic sealers are promising, but their comparative effectiveness in sealing dentinal tubules still needs further research.

Objective: This study evaluated the penetration efficacy of four calcium silicate-based bioceramic sealers - CeraSeal (Meta BIOMED Co.

To evaluate the bond strength and adhesive interface quality between root dentin and pre-mixed bioceramic sealers: AH Plus Bioceramic, Bio-C Sealer, and NeoSEALER Flo. Thirty-six single-rooted teeth were endodontically treated and divided into three groups (n = 12) based on the sealer used: GI-AH Plus Bioceramic; GII-Bio-C Sealer; GIII-NeoSEALER Flo. Fluorescein dye was added to two samples of each group.
