Human behavior is strongly influenced by anticipation, but the underlying neural mechanisms are poorly understood. We obtained intracranial electrocephalography (iEEG) measurements in neurosurgical patients as they performed a simple sensory-motor task with variable (short or long) foreperiod delays that affected anticipation of the cue to respond. Participants showed two forms of anticipatory response biases, distinguished by more premature false alarms (FAs) or faster response times (RTs) on long-delay trials.

Objective: To evaluate the incidence of postoperative complications (POC) in elderly patients (EP) compared to younger patients (YP) following immediate breast reconstruction (IBR) after total mastectomy (TM).
Methods: This retrospective study included patients treated at the Institut Universitaire of Cancer of Toulouse-Oncopole (IUCT-O) between January 2014 and May 2022. The primary outcome was the incidence of POC within 30 days postoperatively.

Objectives: How are socioeconomic inequalities modified by, or how do they interact with, preterm birth?
Design: Narrative systematic review of quantitative observational studies of an interaction, or effect modification, between preterm birth and socioeconomic status.
Data Sources: Five databases were searched for studies published between January 2000 and June 2020. Title and abstract were reviewed to identify articles for dual screening.

TEMPO-CNF film modified by two-dimension transition metal MXene has certain antibacterial properties. However, the problem of long-lasting stability greatly restricts the feasibility of long-term use of the composite film. Here, we introduced polyaniline (PANI) as a modifying molecule, which was electrostatically adsorbed on the surface of the MXene nanosheets to prevent its self-stacking and delay its oxidation.
