Ulcerative colitis affects the inner lining of the large intestine, causing discomfort, pain, and digestion issues, and sometimes leading to life-threatening complications. With proper medication, symptoms and inflammation can be reduced, improving the condition. In this research, a multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCN)-modified circular interdigitated electrode (circular-IDE) biosensor was developed to detect the ulcerative colitis biomarker lipocalin-2 and measured at 0-2 V.

Leishmaniasis in wild canids is a vector-borne disease caused in Europe by the protozoan parasite . To date, there is limited information on clinical signs and laboratory abnormalities in wolves due to leishmaniasis. The current clinical case report described a female Iberian wolf () housed in semi-captivity conditions at the Centro del Lobo Ibérico "Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente", in Robledo de Sanabria, Zamora (Spain), with an interdigital ulcerous wound at the right forepaw, hyper-gammaglobulinemia, and abnormal liver blood parameters.

Introduction: Interdigital block and transthecal block through the flexor sheath are commonly used techniques for the anesthesia of isolated fingers. The wide-awake local anesthetic no-tourniquet technique is a relatively new approach for local anesthesia during finger procedures. The anatomical spread of local anesthetics with the wide-awake local anesthetic no tourniquet technique has not been described adequately.
