In this commentary, we, a recent Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate with hearing loss and a course instructor, share what we learned about classroom accessibility while participating in a semester-long qualitative research methods course offered during the COVID-19 pandemic. We complement our reflections on working together with findings from a student field project focused on the lived classroom experiences of graduate students with hearing loss. The field project revealed that students adapted to increased communication challenges in their learning environments without requesting official accommodations due to stigma and a desire to limit their burden on others.

Continuous and consistent access to quality medical imaging data stimulates innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for patient care. Breakthrough innovations in data-driven AI technologies are founded on seamless communication between data providers, data managers, data users and regulators or other evaluators to determine the standards for quality data. However, the complexity in imaging data quality and heterogeneous nature of AI-enabled medical devices and their intended uses presents several challenges limiting the clinical translation of novel AI technologies.

Background: Scientific implementation findings relevant to the implementation of internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) for depression and anxiety in adults remain sparse and scattered across different sources of published information. Identifying evidence-based factors that influence the implementation of iCBT is key to successfully using iCBT in real-world clinical settings.
Objective: This systematic review evaluated the following: (1) aspects that research articles postulate as important for the implementation of iCBT and (2) aspects relevant to the day-to-day running of iCBT services.

Treatment options for older adults with relapsed multiple myeloma are constrained by the toxicities of existing treatments, the ageing-associated vulnerabilities that may increase the risk of poor treatment tolerance and patient preferences for treatments that do not impair their function or cognition. The study by Toussea et al. epitomizes approaches to designing trials specifically for more vulnerable older adults and moves the field forward with a regimen of great interest for older adults experiencing their first relapse.
