Acquired progressive lymphangioma (APL), or benign lymphangioendothelioma, is an unusual entity derived from vascular structures. Clinically and histopathologically it may resemble Kaposi's sarcoma and well-differentiated angiosarcoma, causing a diagnostic problem. We report an individual with APL initially diagnosed with Kaposi's sarcoma who underwent unnecessary laboratory testing. Imiquimod 5% cream stopped the progression of the lesion. Awareness of this rare entity may prevent patients from undergoing excessive testing. Imiquimod may be used as a safe, effective treatment option.

Uncommon atypical mutations account for 10-15% of all epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activating mutations in nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Tumors harboring rare EGFR mutations show highly heterogeneous responses to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). There is insufficient clinical evidence for uncommon types of EGFR mutations, especially those with compound EGFR mutations.

Microsurgical reconstruction constitutes a fundamental part of plastic and reconstructive surgery. It demands high dexterity and intricate technical skills. Its steep learning curve benefits from thorough training throughout residency, where using realistic simulation models in the appropriate sequence of complexity progression is essential in ensuring patient safety prior to progressing to a clinical setting.

Background: Biomarkers are needed to track progression in MS trials. Neurofilament heavy chain (NfH) has been underutilized due to assay limitations.
Objective: To investigate the added value of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) NfH in secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS) using contemporary immunoassays.

Will our brains get to know a new face better if we look at its external features first? Here we offer neurophysiological evidence of the relevance of external versus internal facial features for constructing new face representations, by contrasting successful face processing with a prototypical case of face agnosia. A woman with acquired prosopagnosia (E.C.
