In this study, we report the synthesis, optical characterization and ultra-sensitive ammonia gas sensing properties of Mg-doped ZnO cauliflower like nanostructures obtained via chemical spray pyrolysis technique. The morphological and structural properties of the prepared films were investigated by Field Emission Scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Gas sensing and optical characterizations were carried out using Keithley electrometer and Uv-Vis.

The giant condyloma acuminatum, known as the Buschke-Löwenstein tumor (BLT), is an uncommon, slow-growing, cauliflower-like tumor located in the anogenital region. It has a high recurrence rate, is sexually transmitted, and is often linked with immunosuppression. This tumor is commonly associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, making HPV one of the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections affecting the perineal and genital regions.

Environmental monitoring of organic pollutants in water sources is crucial for protecting human health and ecosystem sustainability. Herein, we develop a highly active electrocatalyst composite consisting of cauliflower-like calcium molybdate (CaMoO) decorated with sulfur-doped graphitic carbon nitride (S-CN) for the ultrasensitive electrochemical detection of organic pollutant metol. Various microscopic and spectroscopic techniques were employed to analyze the structural and compositional characteristics of the S-CN/CaMoO composite.

Owing to the depletion of renewable energy sources, manufacturing stable, efficient and economical non-noble electrode materials for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) through electrochemical water splitting is a promising avenue. In this work, Ni-Mo alloy films containing different Mo concentrations were synthesized potentiostatic technique, and the mechanism of Ni and Mo co-deposition in an ethylene glycol system (EG) was recorded. The co-deposition mechanism of Mo and Ni in the EG shows that the existence of Ni can facilitate the reduction of Mo, while Mo can impede the reduction of Ni.

This study explores MgB as a reinforcing agent in electroless deposition on AZ91 magnesium alloy substrates, evaluating its impact on coating properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis shows that the amorphous Ni-B coating masks initial magnesium peaks, while MgB enhances MgBO(OH), MgBO, MgO, and MgBOy oxide phases. SEM images illustrate morphological shifts from cauliflower-like Ni-B structures to dendritic and fibrous MgB forms, with higher MgB concentrations leading to granular structures with randomly oriented crystallites resembling platelets, indicating increased magnesium content.
