The management of esophageal cancer (EC) remains a significant clinical challenge, particularly in optimizing therapeutic strategies for different stages and subgroups. This study assessed the impact of preoperative radiochemotherapy (CRT) on clinical staging and identified subgroups for whom definitive CRT (dCRT) may provide a favorable alternative to surgery. Sixty-one patients with esophageal adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma were enrolled.

According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, 16% of people are affected by infertility across the globe. One underlying factor is the age-related decline of ovarian reserve (DOR), which can lead to a higher chance of infertility and has no widely accepted treatment currently. Specific supplements and moderate exercise have been shown to improve fertility; however, there is no consensus to date on the type of exercise providing the best results.

This review aims to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on PLHIV, narrowing it down to women living with HIV/AIDS.

: With the gradual increase in population aging and the prevalence of the empty nest, community elderly care services have become an effective service model for responding to population aging because they can alleviate the decline in family care function and meet the needs of elderly homecare patients. This paper aims to identify the influence mechanism of the accessibility of community elderly care services on the quality of life of the elderly. This paper surveyed a total of 949 elderly people and adopted the interview questionnaire survey method, and it used ordered logistic regression to analyze the impact of accessibility on the quality of life of the elderly.

Currently, there is a lack of research on the actual situation and influencing factors of ICU nurses' emergency ability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although empirical observations from different departments can provide valuable basis for the health system to formulate preventive measures, efficient training programs and future public emergencies.
