Purpose: Chronic graft-versus-host-disease (cGVHD), an inflammatory condition affecting allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) survivors, is associated with a range of debilitating physical and psychological sequela. Yet HCT recipients with cGVHD are virtually absent from survivorship intervention research. We conducted a randomized clinical trial to evaluate the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of a multidisciplinary group coping skills intervention (Horizons) tailored to meet these patients' unique needs.

Design: A descriptive explorative qualitative design.
Methods: Data were collected through individual interviews with 19 care recipients and 197 h of participant observation at 10 nursing homes and home care units in three Norwegian municipalities.

Background: Intrathecal baclofen therapy (ITB) is a well-established treatment modality for severe spasticity, but it is burdened by the need for periodic pump refills. The introduction of a new formulation of baclofen with an extended stability of 180 days (Neteka, Nordic Group BV) could decrease the frequency of refills. We aimed at analyzing the clinical and economic impact of Neteka introduction in our outpatient facility.
