C methionine (C-MET) is increasingly being used in addition to contrast-enhanced MRI to plan for radiotherapy of patients with glioblastomas. This study aimed to assess the recurrence pattern quantitatively. Glioblastoma patients undergoing 11C-MET PET examination before primary radiotherapy from 2018 to 2023 were included in the analysis.

Background And Purpose: We aimed to assess if radiation dose escalation to either the whole primary tumour, or to an F-FDG-PET defined subvolume within the primary tumour known to be at high risk of local relapse, could improve local control in patients with locally advanced non-small-cell lung cancer.
Materials And Methods: Patients with inoperable, stage II-III NSCLC were randomised (1:1) to receive dose-escalated radiotherapy to the whole primary tumour or a PET-defined subvolume, in 24 fractions. The primary endpoint was freedom from local failure (FFLF), assessed by central review of CT-imaging.

Aims: Coronary atherosclerosis with a large necrotic core has been postulated to reduce the vasodilatory capacity of vascular tissue. In the present analysis, we explored whether total plaque volume and necrotic core volume on coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) are independently associated with myocardial ischaemia on positron emission tomography (PET).
Methods And Results: From a registry of symptomatic patients with suspected coronary artery disease and clinically indicated CCTA with sequential [15O]H2O PET myocardial perfusion imaging, we quantitatively measured diameter stenosis, total and compositional plaque volumes on CCTA.

Purpose: In-field high-grade glioma (HGG) recurrence is a common challenge with limited treatment options, including re-irradiation. The radiotracer 3,4-dihydroxy-6-[18F]-fluoro-L-phenylalanine (F-DOPA) crosses the blood brain barrier and demonstrates high uptake in tumor, but low uptake in normal tissue. This study investigated whether F-DOPA positron emission tomography (PET) and MRI guided re-irradiation for recurrent HGG may improve progression free survival (PFS).
