Background: Leukemia, a group of malignant tumors, has been a significant public health concern due to its high incidence and mortality rates. This study aimed to provide an in-depth analysis of the global leukemia burden from 1990 to 2021 using the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) database, focusing on trends in incidence, mortality, and Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) across different regions, genders, and age groups including forecasting future trends.

Background And Objective: Mitochondria are crucial to the function of renal tubular cells, and their dynamic perturbation in many aspects is an important mechanism of diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) technology is a high-throughput sequencing analysis technique for RNA at the level of a single cell nucleus. Here, our DKD mouse kidney single-cell RNA sequencing conveys a more comprehensive mitochondrial profile, which helps us further understand the therapeutic response of this unique organelle family to drugs.

There exist many limitations in current documentation systems whereby documented BP values may not be reflective of the dynamic variability of BP. This study used an observational, prospective, non-randomized study design to examine the variability in BP response during intravenous vasoactive medication administration in an intensive care unit setting.
