Objective: In patients with residual poliomyelitis-related impairments, total hip arthroplasty (THA) is challenging due to the high frequency of risk factors such as hip dysplasia, dislocation, muscle weakness, and fracture. The objective of this study was to assess the long-term functional and radiographic outcomes of anterior-approach THA with a ceramic-ceramic, dual-mobility, or constrained implant in patients with poliomyelitis sequelae.
Hypothesis: THA via the anterior approach with a ceramic-ceramic, dual-mobility, or constrained implant is a reliable technique that is not associated with excess risks of instability or aseptic loosening.

Background: Differential diagnosis of non-compressive cervical myelopathy encompasses a broad spectrum of inflammatory, infectious, vascular, neoplastic, neurodegenerative, and metabolic etiologies. Although the speed of symptom onset and clinical course seem to be specific for certain neurological diseases, lesion pattern on MR imaging is a key player to confirm diagnostic considerations.
Methods: The differentiation between acute complete transverse myelitis and acute partial transverse myelitis makes it possible to distinguish between certain entities, with the latter often being the onset of multiple sclerosis.

Background: U-osteotomy with Taylor Spatial Frame correction is a rarely reported treatment method particularly well-suited for severe rigid equinus deformity in adults. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and efficacy of deformity correction and clinical outcome using this technique.
Methods: We present a retrospective review of 30 feet in 26 patients who received U-osteotomy with Taylor Spatial Frame.

Objectives: Amyoplasia congenita is the most frequent type of arthrogryposis causing fetal hypokinesia, leading to congenital contractures at birth. The pathogenesis is thought to be impaired blood circulation to the fetus early in pregnancy, with hypotension and hypoxia damaging the anterior horn cells. In animal studies however a prenatal infection with a poliomyelitis-like viral agent was demonstrated.
